We are a diesel performance shop but don't let that keep you from giving us a call for any of your truck needs, big or small. We do a little bit of everything and are always willing to learn something new.
Need an oil change, tire rotation or fuel filter change? We know the key to a reliable truck is maintenance. We offer all of the basic services as well as commercial truck inspections, new-to-you vehicle inspections. These services are not limited to pickups and Peterbilts, we also service tractors, motorhomes, busses, and have had a few boat trailers come through.
The fun stuff!
Injectors, head studs, FASS pumps, CP3 conversions... Engine swaps, like for like or a conversion. We are authorized resellers of many of the industries top brands. We also work closely with trusted machine shop for any needed machining work and have resources for figuring out a very specific need you may have. Just remember stock is stock no matter how cool it is, always room for improvement.
One of our other favorites is suspension modification. Lift and level kits are a staple as well as 4 links and custom work. Wheeler suspension to daily driver, even just some air bags for tow rig and a new set of shocks.

The Back Story
FTM Diesel & Off Road was opened in 2016 when I decided to leave a long career in fleet maintenance and open a diesel performance shop. It was a big leap, going from a lifetime of HD fleet service to general public light duty. After many years of changing every part of my own vehicles (and a push from my husband) I was pretty confident I could bring a new idea of truck repair to the folks on the North California Coast.
After my first 6.0 Powerstroke came in for a major repair in the tiny shed I called a shop for the first year and roared back to life, I knew I'd made the right choice. I truly enjoy all my customers and always want them to leave with more knowledge (and horsepower) than they came in with. The customers that I'm the most pleased to work for are my female customers, I can see the relief in their eyes when another woman is their mechanic. Being in the industry my entire life I'd never experienced the reluctance and fear of an auto shop that other women face, I never want my customers to feel that way; woman or man. Trust is a major part of this work and it's your mechanic's job to earn it. I like to think of my customers as part of my fleet, I work on your truck-you're in.
